got one in the mail today. top has been worked on twice and it still leaks. but hey, I got a free bag.

 

So far I've found 4 people that have gotten this and it seems that 3 of them have had prior service done for leaks. Still hoping one shows up at my house, but I'm not really expecting it.

 

I received mine today. I've had my Jeep in twice to fix the leak.

 

I want a free bag.... (even though I have a soft top )




I'm sure every hard top owner (through JEEP) will be getting the bag. I doubt all service managers can type in the same work order saying they worked on your hard top for leaks. It seems much easier to search the system and just say "John Doe bought a hard top... he's located at 123 Street Ave)

 

USPS left a card saying I had a package that needed to be signed for and picked up at the post office, I wonder......that would be a nice surprise!

 

Got one yesterday in Indiana and yes I have had work done on the freedom top when I first got the jeep. I probably will never use it since I will be selling the jeep because of a divorce. The jeep is being used now to tow behind a motorhome and I just got all the tow bar stuff installed.

Just got one in Denver area--via UPS. Have made 4 trips to the dealer for leaking top, and finally no leaks and no noise (well, minimal noise <grin> it's a Jeep!). Dealer really made best effort to work the problem. Definitely like their service folks--very good.

 

I sure hope i'm getting one in the mail... but so far, nuthin

 

How coincidential - I was out at lunch today thinking that it would be nice to take the panels off the top, but didn't want to scratch them up and wishing I had some way to store them in the back.... I come back and this post is up near the top...

I read this entire post and only one person that has NOT had their top in for service had recieved the storage bag.... Anyone else gotten one without having service? I just got my '08 and now that I read this I'm hoping to snag a bag (pun intended) - anyone call jeep and beg their customer service rep to send one??
