Not to hijack the thread, but why does the jeep us so many metric bolts? I was really thinking every thing would be US.

 

I know they're T40 torx bolts. As for size, I just bought some fender and rubber washers to put under mine to help distribute the pressure from tightening them because I saw some cracks on the hard top under the bolts. It wouldn't hurt to check your hard top as well. The washers had a 3/8'' hole and the bolts fit through just fine. From the looks of the bolts I'd say they were slightly less than 3/8'' thick.
