Default Hard water spot removal

I recently moved to an area that has a lot of minerals in the water. Every time I hand wash my Jeep I end up with spots and streaks. I've never encountered this and was wondering if anyone knows of a good way to get rid of the residue. Waxing/polishing helps but there are still noticeable spots. Thanks for any ideas! HBC

You can find a good remover at the auto parts store.

Have you used a clay bar yet?
I've found that after claying our JK, the surface looked much smoother and had a deep richer look. After a good coat of NXT followed by Quick Detail now after a washing the JK shows no hard water spots, and ours is Black.

This works for me as well. Our water is so hard here, and I work at a paper mill and the clay bar works every time.

I used to get these, but I got one of the Mr. Clean car wash systems. It filters the water when you rinse and keeps you from getting any spots even when you let it air dry.
