Hard Top Repair Question
I nicked the hard top pretty good in the parking garage at work today on a support bar for some overhead pipes.
I am a complete noob at fiberglass, but I think that I need to fix it. I did some in high school when we built a plane, but none since.
Here is the damage:
Any advice or ideas?
Thanks,
Darren

Epoxy Resin with filler . http://www.westsystem.com/ss/g-flex-epoxy/ . Check this out call them for any help. Also feel free to contact me. Just apply it, sand it, and lil spray on liner and you should be fine! good luck!

I cant read the box but if it says for SMC material or plastics then it should be fine.... The top is SMC and from what im told fiberglass repair doesnt last forever because it doesnt adhere properly.I will say the guys at west systems have a 800 number and are very helpful! But Im not a professional on this by no means, but maybe someone else will chime in! Good luck

I rolled mine back in late October 2010 and cracked the top and practically ripped off the rain gutter over the passenger door. Found a shop that would do fiber glass repair; got it repaired and had the top linexed. looks good and added some extra insulation to the Jeep
