I ordered my jk with halfdoors because that's what my YJ had. The difference between YJ and the JK uppers are great. I like having a place to put my elbow when driving. I can reach the roll bar. Really nice. The only problem is the soft skin attaches at the bottom and not near the arm rest. At speeds over 50ish and if the wind blows just right there is some major flapping against the arm rest area. If i push out on the fabric it makes it more taut. Idea $3 pipe insulation. Cut to fit and no more slapping. Works good for me. I stuck the extra at the top of the window but I may remove those if seem like they are not necessary. I was actually able to hear the radio at 55mph! Not too bad for $3.

We are planning a trip to Washington DC from Beloit WI 1600 mile round trip so any noise reduction will welcome.

I can't remember is my halfs were noisy (I have a two door).

When I put them back on this season I'll know what to do if they are!
