Got my soft top warranty'd today cause of the windows turning blue
So I noticed to day that my soft top windows were turning blue around the edges and a line on the rear one today. So I took it to my dealer and had them look at it and they told me that they ordered me a "New Top" for me. I thought they would get just the window kit, nut he said the whole top. He asked me what I use to clean it and I told him water and soap, thats all I use even though I do use glass cleaner. That doesn't hurt it. Anyone else have their windows turning color? I will post some pics tomorrow.

No I haven't but I have been worried about storing them right.
You were using yours at the time when this happened?
You wouldn't have any pics of what to look for?
Were your windows tinted?

The ammonia in glass cleaners will turn the plastic windows to a purple shade.

Make sure you use an automotive window cleaner. They are hydrophobic, and will help to keep the windows from fogging over, and also helps them to keep clear when wet.

Mine get a rainbowy oil-slick type haze to them, especially on the top edge, and a streak down the center of the sidepanel ones right where accumulated water on the top runs down it. I figured it was from the Protectant(303 or Bestop, used both) that I put on it leeching off over time.
Plastic window polish/cleaner takes it right off though.

I've never put any window cleaner on my soft top windows. I've always just sponged them off and dabbed the dry with the shammy. When they get a haze I use the MOPAR soft top window cleaner. Mine are in perfect condition.

Ive just noticed the same thing on mine, so what kind of cleaner should I use? The Mopar stuff, or the besttop, I have some window cleaner that I think is made by mothers would that be ok to get the blue haze off?
