the temperature stayed between 6 degrees celcius to 2 degrees celcius, so nothing dramatic over the course of 11 hours of travel, never any large differentials in temp. there was not alot of wind, just alot of rain and fog but we were at high altitudes and that may have affected it, lack of air? it just seemed strange, but if that's all it then i can live with that. thanks for all your input!

I was in and out of the mountains for my trip. Bet the altitude is messing with the mileage.

What part of the island you from? I spent a bit of time in Esquimalt. Nice and close to the water.

i was living in shawnigan lake for a while, now i live in duncan, moved over from montreal 10 years ago, i really like this area, lots of space for the jeep

were you in the military?
