Yeah and ford prices eek!! I've had Ford's and their nice but the rubicon would cost $60,000+ from ford

I actually saw this one out in the wild back then. They were taking pics and doing some testing. It looks small in pictures but it was a good sized beast and looked pretty bad ass in person.

With front and back Hemi's.

When Wranglers go with independent suspension, a basic lift kit will cost thousands due to replacing double wishbone arms, and half shafts.

It's not a wrangler, Jeep is trying for the Jeep "JJ" again for some odd reason after in 99 it never even made it to the showroom floor!

I must admit that 4 wheel steering has great appeal to me, but 4 wheel alignment does not.

CEO says the next version needs 2 improvements: dramatic weight loss and improved drivetrain. He is stressing weight reduction. The new Ford F150 small bed lost 500 lbs. by going aluminum. So if the next Wrangler goes aluminum and keeps body on frame, that's only 500lbs. That new Wrangler is still too heavy at 3,500 lbs.- it has to get to 3,000 lbs.
