You need swaybar disconnects which you can buy from places such as Northridge 4x4. The disconnects will allow you to disconnect the swaybar when you're offroad and reconnect it for road. You do not want to permanently disable your swaybar.

you dont NEED quick disconnects to disconnect your swaybar, but they do make it 1000% easier to do!
I would also recommend getting a set if you really are going to be doing offroading a lot. what they will save you in frustration, crawling around in the slop to unbolt, & busted knuckles will overshadow any cost involved.

I never understood why people think they need a disconnect to disconnect the sway bar. I don't have one and is all I do is slide under and unbolt. Works great and it is not hard. The only down side is if you hit some mud and and to reconnect right after
