i found that handle was pinching my seat and wearing down the fake leather when ever i got out or in, sooo, i just removed it and painted the mechanism underneath the handle with rustoleum bed liner. never looked back. i put it all the way down because i'm a little tall, my wife, she's a little short, but she still drives it and has never complained.......about the seat that is.

 

1) Remove handle.
2) Reposition pointing down and reinstall.
3) Problem solved.

Wasn't able to get it in a usable position. Gonna have to live with it.

I had a lot of running around today and noticed the seat lower by the end of the day. Handle repositioning/mod to follow.

 

Guess I'm happy to drive with mine all the way down...

 

Ha ha. I have mine set to Max high. Being only 5 ' 8". Makes me able to see over the steering wheel. Ha ha. I do agree with the seat going down over a few exits.

 

Can someone post how to get the handle off?
