Does anyone know if the front seat brackets from a 2 door will fit in a 4 door?
I know the local dealer states that the inner and outer part numbers are the same, but doesn't the 2 door model have a flip forward base?
I am needing a set of seats for my unlimited and can only find seats out of a 2 door.

2 door does NOT have flip forward.

Then, I can get the 2 door seats and be done withthis part of my build.

i could have sworn that I saw a 2 door 08 or 09 with flip forward base...

 

My passenger seat in my 08JK flips forward, but unsure if it is the same method as 4 doors. Mine may just slide forward further, pax can only enter on pax side.

 

Figures!! My 07 does not!!! PITA for anyone to get in the back when the top is on!!

 

the passenger side seat in any JK does not flip forward (as with the TJ), they slide forward (tilting the back of the seat forward does not count as flipping up in my book), and not far enough either. i don't use a back seat, but many have complained about this issue.

 

I removed my back seat and use the area to carry my work supplies. If you need good back seat access, the two door is not good.

 

The seat in my 08 does not flip forward either. I really want to add that as a mod.
