Front axle shortage?
My 2010 JKUS has been in the repair shop waiting on a new front axle (68035264AB) for 2 weeks now. Any idea why it would be on backorder?

What happened to the wheel? Not sure why it would take so long to get a D30 in. They aren't in high demand like the D44's, and there are plenty of them around.

Broke wheel
Had a minor fender bender with an F150. Our front wheels met. His axle broke but mine only bent.
No D30 3.73 to be found in Florida.
Aluminium rims must be brittle.

You looking for the whole axle and not just the shaft then right? Are they trying to get a new one or would a used one work? Is insurance requiring a new one?

Same thing here. Jeep has no 44's either. so i am going with a prorock 44 and Ins is picking up the differance because they want my Jeep out of the shop. Great for me.
