Default Front air dam

My front air dam is pretty loose ... Fix it or just take it off??

I'd take it off. if you ever offroad you're most likely going to rip it off anyways
Took mine off the first month i've had my jeeps and havent regretted it yet

Remove the plastic air dam and install a steel skid plate.

I read a forum post from a Wrangler engineer who said the air dam is important for two things: reduced drag and better air circulation around engine compartment (reduced temps). So I would leave it on, or at least go with a beefier but similar replacement.

Mine 'self removed' some where on some track! Figured it must be a sign to get a skid plate in its place! ??

I live in Phoenix. In the middle of summer, hot is what the temperature is BEFORE the sun comes up.
I have had my air dam off since purchasing the Jeep 2 years ago.

No cooling problems.
