Anyone drill a hole in the stock spare mount to mount a trail flag? With the stock bumper I am a bit lost on whee to mount the required flag.

I did. It was a tight fit with the bottom nut, but it worked perfect. There's a flat spot on the spare carrier that works perfect. I would take a pic but I no longer have the stock carrier.

e: I didn't have a stock wheel or tire at the time, so I my tire stuck a little further from the gate and I had plenty of room. I'm not sure about how much room there is with the stock tire on.

I mount mine to the recovery hook on the front bumper.

Thanks guys. I ended up using a 2x2 piece of angle aluminum I had laying around and mounted that on a bolt holding the tire carrier to the tail gate. Flag mounts nicely to that.

Now Im visible for MILES! Right?

No pics?

Anyone have a flag mount for the front with a fctory bumper (aside from using the recovery points)? I believe the off road parks around here would rather have the flag on the front.

I attach mine to the rear gate handle with about 4, 8 inch zip ties. The base of the pole rest on the bumper.
