Default Feeling fortunate

Hello all. At the age of 55 (almost) I am a first time Jeep owner (2013 black JK Sport w/hardtop). I have owned several different cars and trucks over the years (37), but never a Jeep. Although the main reason for the purchase was as a "toad" for our motorhome, I am really enjoying it now and actually look for excuses to "need" to drive it someplace. All that being said, after reading a lot of the post here (now on page 63 of this forum attempting to learn), I am feeling pretty lucky. We have had a 4X4 shop about a block from our house for years and I have always noticed a lot of Jeeps parked there and going in and out. That place is Northridge 4X4 and a lot of you seem to think pretty highly of them. I need to stay out of there for a while so I don't get bitten by the mod bug. Have a great weekend all! -Glenn

hahahaha... careful... it's a slippery slope from a 'toad' to an off the hook build!

Thanks, I am closing my eyes when I drive by (which is momentarily dangerous for those around me). -Glenn

Go in and look. Before you go just leave your wallet at home!

Take your wallet in with you, hand it to Eric, and start creating a pile of parts!

Welcome to the addiction! The sickness will soon consume you completely with no hope of your being cured.

Welcome to the forum and the addiction!
(I'm making the assumption you've been married for many years)
Hopefully in those years you've said yes to the wife a lot, because it would suck going threw a divorce at your age! (My wife threatens me all the time because of my addiction) LOL

If the lady ever says anything, you can always ask if she'd rather have you spend the $ on hookers and blow. Works for me.

Lots of great advice thus far! My wife is actually pretty easy to get along with. The motorhome can get pretty expensive to "play with" as well, so she is pretty used to me "needing" things and seeing the FedEx truck in the driveway.
