sound advice on the mileage check. It became clear that the ecu uses injector duty cycle in its mileage calculation once I hit 26 miles per gallon. Did the mileage check:
ran 75 miles at an average of ~80 mph and burned 3.837 gallons measured when when I refilled the tank. So that's around 19.5 miles per gallon.

Got intermittent rich code at idle.
Talked to Jon at RPM extreme and he scaled the fuel injection on the ecu. Fixed the problem, great customer service! This thing pulls much harder. Even with 3.21s it jumps into the next gear nicely. I'm running 12 ply 32 inch michelins. Not big but heavy. All in all I find the change well worth it.
