Anyone here ever use that stuff from autozone to patch up a hole in the exhaust pipe? thanks

Just get it welded any muffler shop.

I've used the bandage on cracked mufflers and the putty to seal leaking joins between pipes & they both work well as a temporary to semi-permanent repair as long as you prepare the surface properly first. Welding does give a stronger & longer lasting repair on metal in good condition however if there's any underlying rust then the weld often won't hold well.

Cool Hole in One

Band clamps can work very well-they are several inches long & made to secure two pipes of equal diameter.Then there's the Old School of cutting the ends out of tin cans,slitting the sides,wrapping around the hole & securing with hose clamps.Tennis ball cans worked great,don.t know if they're still steel...
