Default Evap Can, Relocate or Skid Plate?

I have read many threads on the site about evap cans being ripped off while wheeling. My question is what are the pros and cons of both? I have been leaning towards the skid plate. Why you ask? I dont know....maybe just knowing it covered and isolated is all it needs.

I'd rather relocate it. It hangs low where it sits in the stock location..

I trust the skids, but not the body its attached to. I'd be afraid of causing damage to the tub with the skid.

I haven't done anything with mine yet. I can't decide if i want to build a skid plate or relocate it.

I understand that moving the evap can. can get you into hot water with your dealership regarding your warranty. For that reason I'll be going with a skid vs. moving it.

This is my concern too. Nothing solid saying one way or the other.

What he said, definitely worth the money to do the inexpensive Wood's relocate, did mine in about an hour with some handtools.
