Light finally went out yesterday. I'll try a pipe wrench this time so I can straighten the steering wheel.

won't the clockspring trigger the airbag light as well though?

Aaron...it must not be the centering of your steering wheel if the light went away....I would lean more towards an intermittent wheel sensor issue

Thanks Jeff for your thoughts. I'm wondering if I may have damaged a sensor or two on my last wheeling trip. We went through some nasty water holes and I really had a hard time cleaning out where the sensors plug in. But, it sounds like it is a steering wheel issue with it be off center a bit. I've adjusted it a bit and it's a little straighter but I'm having a hell of a time with the damn sleeve on the drag link. normally i've been able to adjust by hand but even with a torch and pipe wrench it's not wanting to budge. All else fails?? I may just be buying myself a Synergy DL for christmas.

You're a good man Jeff. Why haven't you installed yet? Just curious...

Nice Jeff. Almost went that route myself. I instead went with OME.

Had a similar issue with my 09 Ram and it ended up being a bad wheel speed sensor. But with the steering wheel being off, I agree that probably is the issue.

Before you throw more parts or work at something that could have multiple causes, it might be worth while to have the error lights diagnosed. Not sure if an auto parts store OBOII scanner will work or to take it into a dealership. If it was a wheel speed sensor, the dealership should be able to tell you which one so you are not trying to figure out which one (or more) of the 4 sensors are bad.
