Engine light with no codes

Are you running the codes with the on board computer or with an actual OBDII scanner? It could be that the code isn't showing up with the scanner you have. Some scanners aren't capable of running the newer computers in some of the Jeeps. Let me know what scanner you're using and I'll help out!

If its flashing, it's more of a problem. If its solid, it's more likely minor. It could turn itself off after a few starts (says the manual).
The onboard code reader doesn't always show every code.
You can have the codes read at any of the chain auto parts stores like autozone or advance. Usually for free.

This worked. In fact, after I tried the on-off routine and removed the key, all the dash lights stayed on. Some capacitor was not discharging, apparently.
