So my check engine light came on and it was the EGR Valve. I decided not to tackle changing the EGR Valve myself since the bolts are so hard to get to on the automatic transmission. Unfortunately, I chose to take it to the local dealership. Here is the latest cost breakdown in case anyone was curious. EGR Valve - $125, EGR Tube Flange Gasket - $4.10, Labor including the diagnostic fee - $237.50. Total - $366.60.

 

My dealer quoted $388. Ebayed the part for $85. Did it myself today. 5 hr job. Pain in the ass.
