There should have been a DVD in your Handbook that came with the jeep. It is basically the same info as the manuel you are waiting for. Just look through the info about Duel tops/Soft top removel. It took me about 20 minutes to do it, from start to finish.

I do believe that I read in the elusive special order manual that if you didn't remove the soft top it would not be covered by warranty if damaged (while the hard top is on). My Rubicon didn't come with the soft top option but I did find one on Craigslist for a decent price. I can hardly wait for warmer weather to put it on.

Forgive the stupid question, but my manuals are still on order from the dealership.
My Rubi came with dual tops. I pulled the rear seat out since I don't have kids and could use the cargo space. However, the big burrito soft top is right in the middle of the rear access area. How do I remove this assembly to give myself room to put larger items in the back?
