Default Dual Top Question

Forgive the stupid question, but my manuals are still on order from the dealership.

My Rubi came with dual tops. I pulled the rear seat out since I don't have kids and could use the cargo space. However, the big burrito soft top is right in the middle of the rear access area. How do I remove this assembly to give myself room to put larger items in the back?

Pic for reference:

Thanks!

You have to take hard top off to remove soft top then put hard top back on,,,,,,that's what I did

The way I removed my soft top from the inside was:

Remove the front panels;

unbolt the hard top from the body;

get inside the jeep and lift the top with your back while wife, gf, or who ever pulls the soft top out the back;

almost forgot, open the tailgate.

Good Luck!

there are 4 screws, one on each bracket that need to be removed to remove the top.

You will also possibly want to remove the brackets themselves. I leave mine in, but many people take em off each year.

There should have been a DVD in your Handbook that came with the jeep. It is basically the same info as the manuel you are waiting for. Just look through the info about Duel tops/Soft top removel. It took me about 20 minutes to do it, from start to finish.
