There are some pictures later on in the thread.
Have fun with the doors off

When removing the #50 Torx nut at the bottom, be VERY CAREFUL to protect the door from dings by your ratchet! I cupped the ratchet head in my hand (take off any rings), but I saw someone mention using one of those magnetic calendars or emblems like you'd put on your kitchen fridge.

Use Mark's idea to carry them...works like a charm.
Also, after the doors are off add some white lithium grease to the hinges to make the process of removal and replacing the doors much easier!!!
The torx nuts....place them where you will find them again, but I usually leave them off for the summer and replace the torx nuts back in during the winter months.

yeah, just take out those 2 nuts(Torks) on each door, roll down the windows, undo the strap and plug and push up...
Usually, the first time you do this, some doors are hard to take off... To help, I use a 2X4 with a towel under the door and pry it against the step bars.. carefully...
Then, I put some waterproof grease in the hinges so it's easier next time.. I usually do this the day a get the Jeep from the dealer...
PS. And like GPD said, watch out for those ratchet dings against the JK body...
