Does anyone hear like water or fluid sounds inside their JK?

Like as in water sloshing when taking off? I.E Overhead? Got your hard top on? Check your overhead panels for water INSIDE them. Many have cracked from overtightening the hand screws and water is allowed to enter the panels.

If you have a hardtop, one of the front roof panels can fill with water. I have a 2008 Rubicon 4 door and my passenger side panel filled with water. I could hear it slosh back and forth. Take them off and turn the windshield side edge down and shake them, water my come out, if it does, the panel is defective. Under warranty, get new panel. No warranty, find the seam where the water went in and seal it.

(1.) The freedom panels are built-up from inner and outer panels. A 3/16'' hole is left open along one edge of the inner panel for condensation to escape. If your gaskets don't seal the outer edges of the freedom tops well and your tops have pinholes in the edge where they are bonded together water will enter the tops and slosh. Remove the sloshing top, hold your finger over the hole in the edge and turn the top very slowly, watching the edges closely. The water will leak out the same place it leaked in. Once you have found the seeping area, drain the top thru the vent hole. Once the top has dried use a non-silicon automotive body seam sealer and work the sealer into the leak area from the outside with your finger. Very easy to do this water leak repair with excellent results.

(2.)If doing wheeling in the mud, many times your door drain holes will clog up and the door will fill up with water. Squat down and run your fingertips along the bottom of the door and you will feel the holes. Clean the holes by running a small screwdriver up thru each hole and allowing the water to run out the bottom of each door. Rinse the door by running a non-metallic object slightly between the glass and the black outer weatherstrip at the bottom of the window, and allow water to run from your hose into the door. Your doors are designed to have water run thru them, entirely normal.

(3) On your hardtop the tailgate window can leak and allow water into your jack storage area. If the window gasket gets DUSTY and the window edge is dirty the tendency for this leak to happen is high. Raise your window, clean the window edge and the weatherstrip gasket and then apply a silicone paste lubricant to the gasket.
