I love my soft tip, but with the addition of my 50" light bar and highway speeds it kinda kills it.

Have heard this will cause some flapping issues, saw somewhere on here that someone had built a bracket to extend the light bar a few inches further away from the windshield. Claims to have fixed it. I haven't gotten to my 50" yet but I will be fabbing some brackets when I get there

Times 2. Love the Supertop NX

Sold my hardtop within one month of purchasing jeep. Bought a trektop nx and haven't looked back. Ironically, my soft top hasn't leaked a bit while my freedom panels leaked even after new seals.

I would loved to have a soft top, but it just doesn't seem to make sense for my situation. Here in the northeast, April through September are the best months for one. But I'm into fly fishing and those are my prime months for that as well. My gear is high end and I will usually have some of my it left in the Jeep when I'm out on the water. The security risk is too high for me to rely on a soft top. I wish it were a safer world, but it isn't.

I hear ya. I've had my old Jeep "broken" into and everything loose stolen. One of the first things I bought for my new Jeep was a Tuffy glove box. Nothing of value is kept anywhere else. I use a locking plastic box when my wife and I go places. I use a cable lock to secure it in the back. It's too bad these measures have to be taken.

I sold my softtop to fund my wheel purchase. I will have a free bay in my garage soon and I plan on getting the quick release bolts and a lift for my hard top. Just pop it off when its nice out. back in, and drop it back on. Almost easier than droping the top!
