Difference between two Dana 44s
Had the locker blow out in my stock 44 and went in for a replacement from a pick a part yard, the one they brought is missing two sensors but they say those aren't needed and it would still work fine, mine is a 2015 the replacement is a 2016. Just want to make sure they're interchangeable before paying for the swap.

Welcome to the forum. Based on the pictures you've got and what you've told us, it sounds like you had a Rubicon rear d44 and they've sourced a standard d44 rear. If you're looking to straight swap it in, yes, it'll work. It doesn't sound like you're willing to ditch the rear locker though.

Yes, they will bolt up exactly the same. The big differences are inside, so you are doing the right thing by asking. I personally would not accept a non-rubicon replacement, but that's your call.
*** Did they verify that the gears are the same ratio as what you are currently running? ***
Rubicon - E-locker. 32-spline axle shafts. Either 3.73 or 4.10 gears. (at least I don't recall rubicons having 3.21's...)
Non-Rubicon - No locker, or an optional clutch-based limited slip. 30-spline axle shafts. Either 3.21 or 3.73 gears.
And I guess just to verity, that top pic does not physically have the wiring port? Or you just meant that it does not come with the wires.

I love this kind of commentary from a source such as that.
I'd pass. As already stated above, it sounds like you have a rubi axle, and what they have pulled is a non-rubi D44. No telling what gear ratio is in that, there'd be no locker in there, and your current shafts wouldn't work with a non-rubi D44 rear.
Maybe we should dig deeper and ask what exactly has happened to your locker? It's not locking? it's not unlocking? the gears blew up? We need more information as we're kinda grasping at straws with the little info you've provided about the jeep, the axle, and the situation.
