Did deoxit fix my abs/traction problem?
You may have seen that I've been struggling to fix my intermittent abs/traction control problem. I'm not ready to declare victory, but last night I removed the connector from the abs module and sprayed both sides with deoxit. I drove about 20 miles today with my work commute and the warning lights did not come on. Fingers crossed it will stay out.

I just found out about Deoxit about a year ago and I've been using it as a preventive maintenance on grounds and connectors. I realized it's an old school electrical cleaner probably not many know about and is suppose to be useful on most green crusty and other oxidized connections. Good luck on your warning lights staying off.

I bought deoxit originally to use on trailer connections that sit in the weather for long time periods. Now that I have it, I use it whenever I am making any kind of electrical connections. Now day two is in the books without the warning lights coming back.

Well it's been almost a week. I've taken a bunch of drives and put on maybe 150 miles. The fault codes have not returned, so I think I can safely say that the deoxit and the resetting of the connector fixed the problem that has dogged me since February.

I checked that stuff out and it looks to be pricey but from the sounds of it- worth every penny in your case. I'll have to get some for my shelf for one of those 'just in case' moments. Thank you for following up buddy!

No warning lights!
I'm on my 5th jeep,2011jku, since my V8 Scrambler in highschool. I would not consider myself an expert but will a Jeep even run without at least one warning light on?

Rob great stuff. The most damage we probably do our vehicles is the pressure wash after wheeling. I spray the hell out of every connector I can see prior to cleaning under the hood with pressure wash. Great news on your side and for the rest of us. This may save a lot of people having to talk with dealer service people and the $$$$ they charge.

Abs, traction control would be on constant and occasionally the downhill decent control light would also come on. But that was intermittent. Many months later, my problem has not returned. So I'm convinced that resetting the large connector and spraying with the deoxit fixed the problem.
