Was there a recall or service bulletin on the hinge issue. I have an 08 with 25,000 - all hinges doing the flake thing.....

I have had my 2011 17 days and I have 2000 miles on it..........I have never had so much fun driving a gas guzzling beast.

09 Unlimited X ,My hinges look fine. 11,784 mile's. New in Feb 09 . 12.4 mile commute to work round trip.

All my hinges are bubbling. This thread gives me no hope the dealer fill fix it. Mabey if enough people complain we'll get a recall?

My local dealership sent pics of my hinged to Chrysler for review. I have an 07 with 22,000 miles. Chrysler said no way Jose, out of warranty. Guess I'm out of luck. Chrysler is CRAPPY!!!!!!!!!

60k on my 07 and the hinges look good as new, well maybe a few dozen rock chips but no rust. Living in the desert has it's advantages.
