Default DEALER QUESTIONS WHERE I AM GETTING TSBs?????

My local dealer is somewhat irritated at the fact that I have access to the TSBs, even questioning me where am I getting them! Are these supposed to be a secret? I believe them to be threatend by a well educated consumer, due to this Forum. I just informed them to search the web and you can find all kinds of things.

Also, I have had it with the service department, rude service advisors, sloppy techs, etc. Can someone provide a contact # or address for DCX. It is time to start filing complaints with DCX, BBB and anyone else that you members may be aware of.

Any info you may have would be great.

Tinman, thanks for the info.

Piginajeep, I am so done with this dealership and will be trying a different one as well. This dealer owns two jeep/chrys dealerships in San antonio, as well as Nissan, Chevrolet, Motorhome dealerships, etc. At one point they were both named after the same gentleman, however the recently built jeep chrysler has sinced completely changed their name leaving people to believe it is no longer affiliated with the gentleman above. Wonder why, bad reputation?

It's nice to vent. Any other input is welcome. Should we not disclose this is where we get our TSBs????????????

my dealer is just the opposite. When I bought my jeep I had all correct part numbers and prices for accessories. Now they after the first couple of tsb's they'll know that you know your stuff and start and start coming to you for answers about these rigs. I love bonham chrysler.

I believe they feel that I am just reading thru the TSBs just looking for ones to pick and choose from. That is absolutely not the case! I really rather them not work on the jeep at all, each time it comes back with damage: wrecked bumper they tried to deny that happened on their watch, cracked scratched dash, greasy hand prints on seat covers, etc. Yesterday a service advisor came right out and said "frankly, we are tired of working on your jeep, and suggested I take it somewhere else. The service manager was not too happy with her suggestion and took over the write up.

At this point, I seriously believe someone may due some malicious damage to my jeep that I wouldn't even know about. This dealership is really beating me down.

Cuddos on being a happy customer with Bohnam! I wish I lived closer to that dealership.

Thanks for all the replies. Keep 'em coming!

That is truly the only way to fix the situation.

If you spend whatever time and effort writing letters to Chrysler and the Better Business Bureau and even if something comes of it, do you still want to take your vehicle to that same crappy dealership ever again?

So just go to another dealership and move on. Time spent being annoyed is time you are not out there in your Jeep

Yeah, many dealers get pissy because it makes them do their job. They just want the money when you buy it. They only do the work they have to do. They don't want you actively looking for maintenance that needs to be performed.

No not all TSB's have to be done. Some are optional and will require that you pay to get it done. However most are free if there is a defect that the TSB addresses. The TSB to turn off the ESP system permanently is optional in some instances.
