Default Damn zipper

How the hell does the dam zipper go on the rear window for the soft top. I am going to throw a big fu$%%$# hammer at it.

This is stupid. It just doesn't want to do anything. Hard top back on.

If it doesn't want to start try squeezing the metal end with a needle nose

This time of year, the zippers are gritty from winter weather for us soft toppers in the northeast. Don't use anything but candle wax. Be sure the zipper is clean, then run a candle along the zipper teeth on both sides including the part tat slides into the slider. What makes it difficult is the size and weight while trying to keep it aligned and even. Get your wife to help. Deep breaths first.

I got it. It was nuts. Just would not start. Hopefully it'll be better next time.

It's pretty much like starting the zipper of a skiing jacket. Pull both sliders together at the very end on the lower left.

One thing that helps is a wax that divers use on the suits' zippers. I apply when replacing the hard top by the soft top in the Spring and about once a month when using it. Zippers slide a lot easier.
