I love bacon, too! (Both the pork product as well as the local 5-0). A good friend of mine works for LASD (Sheriff)...I have mad respect for "Da Law!" as Sly Stallone would say. I just didn't know the legality of the fender flare issue. Thank all you cats for clearing it up...and keep up the good work for whoever is in law enforcement on this forum.

front both cracked
Found this thread to add my two cents.
Both of my front flares have developed long hairline cracks. Nobody has been climbing on them or otherwise abusing them.
The flares on my most recent prior Jeep -- a 2004 LJ -- were tough as heck, but these Sahara flares seem to be crap.
(I tried to manipulate the photo to make the crack more visible, but it's still not as obvious as in person ...)
