covered or uncovered?

covered or uncovered?
I got the hard top on - finally. I am now looking at the roll cage in my 07 JK and wondering if I should remove the covering or leave it on. I am thinking is i remove the black covering I can do somthing in Green to match my accent color.
What did you do? and why?

I think our "sport cage" looks better with the padding on. If you take it off it looks like it was made from some kids swing set.
If it was a real roll cage I might remove the padding, except where it is needed to keep someone from bashing their body into it in a roll over.

I haven't had my padding on in over a year. I love the way it looks. Half the year I am topless, and have gotten nothing but compliments on no padding.
I also have found grab handles for ATV that cost $14 for 2, fit perfectly on the bar. They're the same quality as the $30 ones, except half the price.
