'16 JKU - I'm reading 200-208 in traffic, 200-204 on the highway. Of course, it's 95 degrees out here . . .

2014 Rubicon w/ 35s. I normally see anywhere from 200° - 218° in city traffic during 110°+. If I'm going up hills I have seen as warm as 235° which is apparently "normal" to happen.

My friends 2015 runs the same as yours. I've seen it hit 241* on a long mountain climb. There are several threads on it here on JK Forum & others as well. The high speed fan doesn't kick in until 225*. The dealer will just tell you it's normal, Chrysler runs these things hot. So as long as the fan brings you down in temp you should be fine.

I have had similar high temps (230 -240) driving up hills at highway speed on my 2015 JKU. I don't think this should be normal. I can also state with certainty that having the fan on or off, will make no difference while driving 70mph.

Pretty consistent 195-210 year round here in the PNW even on the 90+ days and after adding a winch blocking part of the grill.

I have an 08 and my temps were running up there for a long time. Just recently my 3rd game gave out and I found my thermostat bad. I overheated and blow out the radiator when the fan went out. I think the thermostat was going bad for a long time. 100k miles.

Since replacing thermostat, fan and radiator I'm running consistently no hotter than 215. Gas Milage has improved by about 1-2mpg also believe it or not!
