Buddy of mine is preparing to order a 2012, wants a mild lift and winch to start from, I suggested ordering the COD, as it comes with the winch and bumper, but he claims that he was told at the dealership that the COD was not a Rubicon.

I thought the special packages, (Mojave, COD and Arctic) were appearance packages on the Rubi platform.

The COD model is a Rubicon but it does not come with a winch or lift.

You can get a winch and lift put on it... It can be ordered through dealership and they will install it...

Ok, my bad, maybe I did not read the web page fully, but given the pictures I "assumed" the bumper and winch was part of the package.

I looked at one 'as outfitted' in all the ads (lift, bumpers F+R, etc.) and it was well over $40. Sweet looking but steep on the price.

Bumper is winch "ready" and does come with it.

Close. Yes the COD MW3 Jeep is based on a Rubicon platform. It comes standard with the AEV bumper and Mopar hood. The 2 inch lift and Warn winch are optional for for the MW3 package. Most every MW3 on the lot will have the lift and winch already installed.

So you're confirming the lift and winch is available as an option to be selected at time of order? Or are you saying its a dealer add-on like any other Mopar accessory? I have not tried build one as I already have a 2012 but it's my understanding the factory would not install either due to liability issues.
