clutch makes clicking noise
for all the 6 speeds out there; has anyone noticed a clicking noise while engaging the clutch? When I slowly stick the clutch in I can hear a "click click click" I noticed it today when I had the doors off. Also I can feel it in the clutch peddle but just barely. It does it when the Jeep is both on and off. I'm gonna try and take it in under warranty but I wanted to check if anyone has experienced this before and maybe a little heads up before I get to the dealership.
Thanks to everyone in advanced

I might be your throw-out bearing but if it ticks all the time even when engaged in gear it might not be.
Try this:
Turn your Jeep on.
Drive it until it starts ticking.
Put the Jeep in neutral and let off the clutch.
If you hear the ticking continue
Press the clutch just slightly (maybe an inch)
If it quits ticking its your throwout bearing, get it replaced under warranty.

Today I drove it and when I parked, in neutral, I stuck the clutch in and heard the click. Then I killed the Jeep and could replicate the noise again and again in the same spots. If I slowly push the clutch in right at the point where the clutch pushes back "engagement point" it clicks, if I let it out no click but push it back to that spot and click! It has the specific points where it does this, and I can feel it in the peddle.
Do this sound like the throw-out bearing? Either way I'm gonna take it in for warranty as soon as possible and see if they will replace throw-out bearing.
thanks again everyone

The dealership just replaced my throwout bearing. It would make a sound similar to a metal on metal vibration buzz. I could easily replicate it. Push in the clutch with +2500 RPMs and buzz buzz. They pulled the tranny and swapped it under warranty in < a day.

I have the same issue, and so far I've been too lazy to get underneath when someone else is using the clutch.
If I didn't know better, I'd swear it was linkage down by the clutch making noise as it disengaged/engaged, but since it's hydraulic I have no clue.
If someone else has had this issue, it would be great to get a solution.
