Default Clunk in rear right

Hit small bumps in my 08 JK and get this annoying "Clunk" sound. Could it be the door latch adjustment everyone is talking about?

Yep, I adjusted mine and it completely stopped but it needs some more adjustment as it is coming back ever so slightly. I had to adjust two doors.

I love the person that figured how to fix the clunk. I finally did mine a few weeks ago after living with it for almost a year. Why it took me so long, I have no idea - but it's done and the clunk is gone. Thank you.

Had my dealer order the revised latches yesterday. I adjusted mine a while back and it fixed the problem, but the doors were a booger to close. At least the were tight.

I just gave the part number to the service writer and told him there wasn't a TSB, but they were listed as a "revised latch". The wording alone should be enough for them to replace them. He checked the number that I gave him from this forum and said that a new part number had already superseded that one. They ordered them and are going to install them free when they come in.

I'll let every body know the new part numbers when I get them.

How many latches? I thought it was just the drivers door latch that had the revised part number? Both my front doors are hard to shut due to adjusting out the clunks in them....

According to my service writer they had one for both sides. I'll know more in a day or two.
