I dont have it yet, but I ordered Katzkin leather of mine for many of the reasons stated here. I am thinking about cordura seat covers when I have the top off to protect them from the sun.
The best part, was getting to customize the seats. There are around 50 colors you can choose from, and you can pick up to three different colors, as well as pick your stitching color.
I got the commando green unlimited with the black/dark saddle interior. I wanted to go with matching tan seats to cut down on heat. I am generally pretty good at visualizing, but I wanted to mock up some different ideas in photoshop to see what would look best!
Here are 8 seats that I designed first:
So then I wanted to see what they would actually look like in the jeep... So I took a picture of a commando green with the Saddle leather interior while I was at the dealership, and edited it to reflect my favorite design:
I settled on this color configuration with matching olive green stitching and "Jeep" embroidered in the back. The aftermarket folks at the dealership were great, and all of this was done at no charge. The seats should be in this week!

I have leather in my '13 Sahara 2 door. I really like it. It holds up really well, it's the saddle brown. I don't know if the rubi has that option, but if it does I recommend it.
That said, another option is to run seat covers. Marathon seat covers are supposedly really good though $$$
Oddly enough, I also have a commando green like the dude above me.
