I just started experiencing the clockspring issue. I called the dealer to get it fixed under the extended warranty, but he can't get me in for a week. The problem is the airbag light comes on, then goes off after about 15-30 seconds, then when it comes back on the chime dings, and this happens roughly 2 to 3 times a minute and it is very annoying. Is there a way to stop the chime? I can ignore the light, but the chime makes me want to rip the steering wheel off and chuck it out the window!!

Not that I'm aware of. Mine did that for a few months until I made the time to fix it. You get used to it after awhile, or turn the stereo up
