check out reply from chrysler about lifetime warranty

Just to add my 2 cents worth in, the new Lifetime Warranty came about with the new Chrysler Group, not Dhaimler Chrysler. If you purchased prior to the new Warranty, most likely you bought a Dhaimler Chrysler Jeep, not a Chrysler Group Jeep.
Another note, it's not DCX anymore people, we are deeling with a new company, we can shorten it to CG, that just uses the same names and carries over the product. Chrysler Group is trying to stand out and make changes, this was easy and fairly inexpensive for them to do.
For all of you that feel left out, there is hte ability to purchase this Warranty. This is from the Frquently asked questions section of the Jeep website. this offer expires on Tuesday.
<LI class=ques>Q12: If I purchased my vehicle on July 24 or 25, am I still eligible for the new lifetime limited warranty? A12: No. However, Chrysler Service Contracts offers a Lifetime Powertrain service contract that is similar to the Company’s new powertrain warranty program. For 60 days, this plan will be offered at a great value to you if you own a 2006 MY and 2007 MY Chrysler, Jeep or Dodge vehicle with the 3/36 basic limited warranty coverage.
I'm not trying to sell anything, but if you feel really left out, you have an option.

You are right on with your response.
Its hard enough to get Jeep or Chrysler to fix warranty problems as it is. The customer has to come to near fist fights at times to get the work done properly , if at all.
This is my last Chrysler product too if I have to fight as hard as I did last time to get warranty work done.
The lifetime warranty is nothing but pure marketing shit. The majority of people don't keep their vehicles long enough to use it, especially when they fall apart so early like Chrysler products and they can't get anyone to fix em.

WOW, you must have one of those crappy dealers. My dealer practically trips over themselves to help me get any problem fixed as quickly as possible. With a complimentary cool drink too.
