They have raised the price of the JK's a couple of times during the 2007 production.

I suppose you would be allright with them if the retroactively charged everyone who purchased one before the increases the difference...

Somebody call the WAAHMBULANCE...

I was pissed about this at first. If you're going to keep your vehicle completely stock, make all the scheduled appointments, and drive it forever, then the warranty is good. I would bet just adding larger tires would void the damn thing, and that's something ~99% of us are going to do. Maybe if I had a 4-door Rubicon, the warranty would be fine, but I have a 2-door X that will be modded to some extent.

Sorry, gotta agree. It hurts because it was so close to your purchase date, but like they said, you got the best deal possible (that you were willing to accept) the day you bought. I don't suppose you wrote to the oil company that dropped gas prices (ok, a couple of years ago) asking for a check because you filled your tank the day before the price went down. Business is business. It's give and take. I bet you could find much better reasons to stop buying DCX products, but this doesn't move me. By the way, I bought a couple of weeks ago, and I probably didn't get the lifetime deal either...

Be happy... you drive a cool vehicle!

My bad, you are correct, I was thinking of something else when I said that.

Makes sense for it to be every 5 years and not every 5k miles... it's easier to forget that way.

I am just curious what all the finance guys will be trying to sell you instead of the extended warranty? At least they still got the window etching!

Deal with it. If they were to allow '07 models to fall under the warranty, they would have to allow all older models to fall under the warranty. What reason would they have for including old models under a new policy? None. If they decided to cut the price of the 2008 JK $500 (I know, it wouldnt happen, but humor me), would you expect them to cut you a check for $500 because you bought a JK a year ago at the higher price? I didnt think so. Drive it and like it, or sell it, and get a new one with a lifetime warranty.

Indeed. I can't believe the whinning about this warranty....honestly....cry me a river...

And btw, it might be the middle of the calendar year, but its just about the start of the auto year, son... absolute perfect time for new incentives...
