Default Check Engine Light after CAI to Stock Air swap

Im getting myself a good ol' AEV snorkel and while taking out the "cold air intake" and dropping back in the stock air cleaner assembly I have the check engine light on. I was extremely careful while pulling out and plugging in the O2 sensor so I'm pretty sure that its not broken. However, in my excitement to see if everything worked right .............I didnt plug the wires back into the O2 sensor before starting it. Now the check engine light is on, I have no codes that pop on after doing the off on code check trick. Is this something that will shut off on its own after a few days of running the jeep with everything working fine, or am i going to have to go to the dealer to have them clear the light.

Do you have a ProCal? You could try clearing the DTCs... Even if it doesn't list codes, it'd be worth a try.

Another thing to try is to unplug the positive cable from your battery for 10 minutes or so, and see if that resets things.

The sensor in the intake is an IAT sensor. Not an o2 sensor.

It allows the Jeep to measure the incoming air temperature so it can

A) display a nice MPG reading on your dash
and
B) its one of the many sensors that the engine uses to help adjust emissions.

Determines the temperature of the air going into the combustion chamber.

Google IAT for an explanation of how it effects fuel trim, spark timing, etc.
