Default Can't get wax off of the plastic trim...

I made the mistake of being careless and got yellow carnauba wax all over my fenders and door handles months ago.

I've tried everything to get it off from hot water to proffesional products.

I called Meguiars several times and all that did was make me invest more money into their products which didn't take it off.

I have tried scrubbing it off so much I've lightly scratched up the paint surround all the door handles and fenders.

If it was awesome offroad manly dirtiness I wouldn't care...but the mass of white stains on my blacked out 2011 is very upsetting. Its even on my metal sidesteps which I can't get it off of either.

Have used
Hot water
Peanut butter
Meguiars heavy duty vinyl cleaner
mothers back to black.

Next time im using turtle wax ICE

Gasoline will rip it right out but then that part will be white. Hit it with some tire spray to bring it back to life or 303... I use leather care spray conditioner and it works better than 303 or anything else out there. It's UV protected and it lasts past one wash

Dab a towel in gas, don't just pour it all over

Hmm. It did this a long ways back but it was very minor. I used back to black and it worked for me. Did you try to buff the fenders? Tire shine will get rid of it, but beware, it will fade your fenders. Hope you get it off!

Try WD-40. I know that stuff gets out melted crayon from car seats.

Exclamation

Il give gasoline and an eraser a go.

Back to black seems to only be a really temporary fix.

It just coats the surface with a greasy material that streaks once you wash it...

I got some paste wax on my fender flare and used 303 on a toothbrush (to scrub it in). Worked pretty well.

Just get the spray leather care conditioner. It works better than anything out there. No crazy shine, looks new still after brush carwash, no streaks, no bs.. Oh and it under $5 a bottle. Bottle lasts around 4-7 full times around including bumpers
