Yes you can paint it. Maybe you could trade with someone that wants the khaki, might be the way to go.

A few have painted theirs black with bedliner. Others have matched the color of their Jeep, and others have painted portions of the top for cooling purposes. I have read quite a few. Good luck with the searching, I don't remember all the posts

In all cases, if you do it yourself, you will have to mask off the area you want to paint from the glass, rubber, etc. and use a light sand paper to rough up the finished surface in preparation for receiving paint. I only have experience with applying spray on bedliner, know nothing about painting.... Hopefully others will chime in.

I manage a paint/body shop and I have painted a few. None have gone form khaki tio black they have all been to match the exterior color or paint the inside to match the interior. Are you planning on doing it yourself?

Can't speak for the OP, but yes I was planning on doing it myself. Have done the bedliner inside a jeep before, but was looking to "Paint" the hardtop.

Default Have you painted your top yet? I have a black top and am looking for Khaki!

Dude, I have a 2009 unlimited in dark green and think the khaki top would look better than the black top I have. Give me a shout if your are still looking for a black top!

I have more cans, but haven't gotten around to doing the outside of mine yet.

Anyone know where I can get the dark Khaki paint?
I think the Rescue green looks better with the dark Khaki.
I can't imagine why they weren't offered together.
