I use the car wash in Winter and hand was rest of the year, no problems as yet! X2- unscrew antenna for sure!

I run mine through one that beats the hell out of it (literally sounds like someone is whipping towels at the body when you're going through). Comes out squeaky clean every time, no scratches, nothing broken. Soft/Hard top. There's a car wash franchise in Pittsburgh called Mr. Magic and that's who I take it to.

My only complaint is the little "spots" that I have to go through with a cloth and wipe off due to the excess that the auto dryers miss.

Been through the automatic wash twice this past season to remove road salt.
Even with the brushes and what not pounding on the JK, there was no damage, no leaks and my windshield mounted lights didnt' budge.

Now that the weather is nice, I'll wash it myself in the driveway.

should be ok...i do it.
although the antennea gets grabbed by the brushes sometime.
