No lights are on whatsoever on the dash. I've checked and checked and see no such wire, really weird.... Is it the same size as this one? Is it curved around another wire or is it all by itself?

Looked again and I swear it's not there.... what's the other option: remove the entire center console and see what's going to the accelerometer?

You CAN turn off the electronic nannies for speeds under 40 mph..

From the manual (which so many don't bother to consult):

ESP Off (4WD High Range Only)
This mode is intended for off-highway or off-road use
when ESP stability features could inhibit vehicle maneuverability
due to trail conditions. This mode is entered by
depressing and holding the “ESP Control Switch” for 5
seconds when the vehicle is stopped and the engine is
running. In this mode, all ESP and TCS stability features
are turned off except for the “limited slip” feature described
in the TCS section. After 5 seconds, a chime will
sound, the ESP/TCS Indicator Light will illuminate,
and the ESP OFF message will appear in the odometer.

NOTE: The ESP system will change to “Partial Off”
mode if the vehicle speed exceeds 40 mph (64 km/h).
After the vehicle speed is reduced below 35 mph (56
km/h), the ESP system will return to “Full Off” mode.

Got that to work. Would still prefer an off all the time switch...

Default why two wires

in the post to wire the kill switch it mentions the need for two wires why is this is one a ground or am i wiring to pieces of wire to the splice? Can someone please clear this part of the process up for me im a little confused? Am I making two splices on the purple wire or one? Any help here would be great. I have the locker mod done on my '07 but need to get this ESP kill done before I can use it.

I'm going to assume one wire is a ground and other is to tie into positive side of the original ESP on the center console. Making a ground on your killswitch you want to put in will be like a full on off for the ESP killswitch in the off position. That is what I am guessing cause its the only way it makes sense to me. Hope this helps.
