You'll probably end up driving off the jack when the traction control applies the brake to the tire off the ground.

I have a 2008 jeep with the same problem (C2200 code) I did the dirt road trick and lights stayed off until I turned off the jeep and drove again. 12 MPH and back lights back on. Cleaned plug and battery cables. Problem still there. Any ideas would be greatly apricated
