c1405 code ?
First off; this is on a 2013 Rubicon.
I have a C1405 error code (transfer case range position sensor circuit high)
Problem: lockers don't engage and sway bar disco non functional.
transfer case will shift into 4hi and 4lo, it does engage and function......BUT "4wd" does not show on dash.
It appears computer will not allow lockers/SB to function do to not recognizing that its in 4wd.
Anyone have info on this?

I found this. Hope it helps. Good luck.
Ol Bob
Most likely wire damage.
Here is what the code means:
C1405- TRANSFER CASE RANGE POSITION SENSOR CIRCUIT HIGH
When Monitored: With the ignition on. Battery voltage between 9.0 and 16.0 volts
Set Condition: The TIPM detects 5.0 volts on the Transfer Case Range Position Sensor Signal circuit for 2.0 seconds when voltage should not be present.
Possible Causes
MODE SENSOR SIGNAL CIRCUIT OPEN
SENSOR GROUND CIRCUIT OPEN
MODE SENSOR SIGNAL CIRCUIT SHORTED TO VOLTAGE
TRANSFER CASE (4WD) SWITCH
TOTALLY INTEGRATED POWER MODULE (TIPM)

Picked it up, tested all the 4wd functions. Everything appears to be working properly. In a couple days I'll take it out on some trails to further test it.
