Based on what I see advertised here in NJ, that price seems reasonable. However, I just could never bring myself to spend that kind of money on something with that many miles. Much different animal, but my son's 98 TJ had just 128,000 miles and I only paid $4300 for it back in 2009.

That's about 30,000 too many miles for a 2007. You can do way better. Keep looking.

Referencing a comment above, yep, insurance is going to be important. As a military member, you probably already know about USAA, but it's always worth checking around with other companies like Geico, State Farm, Progressive, etc. Insurance rates vary wildly for young dudes--it really depends on what kind of risk the insurance company is willing to buy with a young customer, and also a zillion other factors that only underwriters with advanced degrees in math and statistics understand

I did a quick search to see what's for sale here in the Seattle area, and there's quite a rash of nice, unmolested low-mileage JK's here. The midwest is a different market I realize, but with some extended radius searching you should be able to come up with something a little less used than that '07 Sahara.

OP, You live too far away, but for anyone who's looking here in the Seattle area, there's a ridiculously hot looking, mostly-stock 2-door '09 JK with really low miles and nearly-new BFG's for sale. I might happen to know everything about that Jeep including it's service history and what the dealership might be looking to get out of it.

State Farm. I have a 92 Pathfinder, an 01 Mazda, an 01 Xterra and a 03 Kia. Full coverage on all but the Pathfinder. The Wrangler is still cheapest to insure.
