Burning smell after accelerating
I have a 2012 jk with 110,000k miles and after accelerating onto highway speeds a burning smell comes in the cabin. It smells like a plastic or possible oil burning but the oil level is good. I inspected the engine and there was no visible oil leaks. I also replaced the oil and the issue still persists. This smell only happens after suddenly rising past 4,000 rpms and fades away after a couple of minutes. Since i have noticed it it has slowly become more noticeable. I have heard a bad belt or pully could cause this but after inspection they seemed fine. Any ideas on what it could be?

Check all the PVC hoses; for being loose not corrected correctly or cracked.. Have you detected this odor on a hot restart; after 10 15 min soak from shut down to restart coming thru the EVAC vents?

Took a look at all hoses and they are in good condition, all also were in place. The smell does still remain after a warm restart and today the smell for some time was coming in while just cruising from the ac vents. It wasn’t that noticeable while cruising but was still there. Its very strong after hard acceleration.
